Electronics Application Engineer – SEW-Eurodrive
My client, SEW-Eurodrive (NZ) Ltd, is a market leader in the industrial power transmission market. They are a multinational company employing over 19,000 people worldwide with a footprint in just about every developed country.
They specialise in providing solutions to customers using their wide range of products including but not limited to: Electric motors, geared motors, variable speed drives, servo motors, servo controllers and heavy Industrial gear units.
For this position, they are looking for an Applications Engineer with sound industrial experience with variable speed drives.
Based in East Tamaki, Auckland, you will be responsible for the support of the SEW-Eurodrive electronic product portfolio throughout New Zealand. You will support the sales team in providing strong technical support, engineered solutions and product recommendations to both existing customers and to prospective customers. This position does not include any on-site installation work but the person will still need to go on site to assist with commissioning and trouble shooting. Mostly this is an office based role but with some time visiting Auckland based customers and the odd trip to the Hawkes Bay or South Island.
This senior position requires a minimum of 5 years relevant industrial VSD sales experience, a formal tertiary electrical, electronic or mechatronic qualification. Full technical and product training will be provided for the right applicant.
Applicants should be entitled to live and work in New Zealand, but overseas applicants will be considered too.
