Technical Sales Representative – Upper North Island

Seeking someone based in Auckland with tiling or flooring knowledge for a supplier of products used in the preparation, waterproofing, and installation of tiling and flooring. The ideal candidate would have sales experience, but this role is also open to someone with good technical knowledge without sales experience.

About the employer:

Global company, established nearly 90 years ago with sales of 4.4 billon Euros in 2025. Established in NZ since 2002, their head office is in Auckland, plus they have a 1200 sqm warehouse/office space in Christchurch.

Supplies customers across NZ preparation, installation and waterproofing products for flooring and laying of tiles, carpets, vinyl, timber, car parks, sports flooring, public tracks, and other industrial floors.

About the role:

  • Maintain and grow sales in your territory across the Upper North Island – Taupo, Rotorua, Tauranga, Hamilton, Auckland, Northland.
  • Manage existing relationships, and grow sales through new customers you bring on-board.
  • Deal with main building contractors, tiling and flooring sub-contractors, and architects; plus resellers.
  • Get products specified on building plans.
  • Seek out opportunities on building project databases such as BCI and Pacifecon.
